Jenny Cooper
Marketing and strategic business Manager – Westhaven Marketing Ltd.
Profile Update: March 2024
After completing a B.Com(Ag) majoring in Economics and marketing, my career has always been involved in marketing and exporting primary products: Processed : berryfruit, dairy and shellfish. Researching and understanding food in a variety of food applications and targeted food sectors .
My current role is Marketing and Strategic Business Manager , including Haccp and RMP audit support at Westhaven. The role of promoting, Shellfish as a great seafood protein option for nutrition, flavour and well being .
Westhaven is a family run business exporting to multiple markets to food service and retail customers. It is important we can validate where it’s from , and a “wild caught, safe sustainable seafood”, source. It’s from “The sea to plate” …Traceability is key for Westhaven. We export mainly frozen NZ Littleneck Clams (NZ Cockles).
As one Italian mama said “Mmm – these clams are the champagne of the sea!”

My other interests include photography, watercolour painting, bridge, and in the past volunteering for Nelson Bays Arts Marketing Trust, and the Adam NZ Festival of Chamber Music Committee.
